Storm-Damage Property Check

The storm hit your house. You're 900 miles away. A local Hand photographs the roof, fence, and yard today — proof in your inbox before the contractors start circling.

Who this is for

A storm rolled through and the house is somewhere you aren't: a rental property, a second home, an inherited house, a place you're about to buy. You need eyes on it today — not a contractor's upsell and not a week of worrying. A local Hand goes to the property, photographs the roof (from the ground), fence lines, trees, and yard, and checks for visible damage, fallen limbs, and standing water. You get a dated set of photos and a short written note.

How it works

  1. Post the check and set your price. Say the address area, what to photograph, and what you're paying. The full posted price is the worker's pay.
  2. A local Hand claims it and goes the same day (weather and safety permitting), taking the exact photos you specified.
  3. You approve the photo proof, then payment releases. You pay your posted price plus a 15% platform fee — post a $40 check and the worker gets $40, the fee is $6, you pay $46. Nothing is due before the proof is in and approved.
