Vacant & Inherited Property Check

An empty house is a worry you can outsource. A local Hand checks it's locked, dry, and untouched — dated photos, every visit.

Who this is for

A house is sitting empty — inherited and waiting on probate, between tenants, mid-sale, or a snowbird place in the off-season — and it's too far away for you to look in on. A local Hand visits on the schedule you set and checks that it's locked up, dry, pipes intact, no leaks, no damage, no signs of anyone getting in. Every visit comes back as dated photos, inside and out, with a short written note — so a small problem gets caught while it's still small.

How it works

  1. Post the check and set your price. Say the property's area, what to check, and how often. The full posted price is the worker's pay, per visit.
  2. A local Hand claims it and makes the visit, photographing the doors, locks, rooms, and utility areas you specified.
  3. You approve the photo proof, then payment releases. You pay your posted price plus a 15% platform fee — post a $40 check and the worker gets $40, the fee is $6, you pay $46. Nothing is due before the proof is in and approved.
